Work With Me
Local Stories. Real People. Authentic Promotion.
Floyd is full of incredible small businesses — but not everyone knows about them. That’s where I come in. As Small Town Floyd Girl, my mission is simple: help local businesses get seen, supported, and celebrated.
If you’re a small business owner who wants more visibility, more foot traffic, and content that actually works… you’re in the right place.
What You Get When You Work with Me
I don’t just promote businesses — I tell their stories in a way that feels personal, engaging, and community-centered. Every feature is designed to show people not only what you offer, but why it matters.
Expect marketing that feels warm, inviting, and rooted right here in our small town.
And the best part? It’s FREE! This is MY way of giving back to the community I love and grew up in!
I would LOVE to feature 4 local businesses every month, so if you’d like to be one of them, PLEASE APPLY BELOW!
My Promise
I’ll schedule a time with you to highlight your business so you are prepared to show off YOUR business. You’ll get to see a preview before I post anything on social.
Your feature will be posted on YOUR page as well as mine for maximum exposure. I’ll also share with you details on how to get more organic growth.
I promote your business the same way I talk about places I love — with excitement, honesty, and heart. No scripts. No salesy energy. Just authentic connection that gets people paying attention!

Our Editorial Policy
Small Town Floyd Girl exists to celebrate the people, businesses, makers, organizations, and stories that make our community special.
Our features are independently selected and free to the businesses and organizations we choose to highlight. We don’t accept payment in exchange for editorial features, because we want those features to remain genuine and meaningful.
We intentionally keep Small Town Floyd Girl nonpolitical and nonpartisan. We don’t feature political campaigns, candidates, parties, or organizations whose primary purpose is political advocacy. We also don’t use our features to promote political positions or debates.
That doesn’t mean we agree—or disagree—with every person we feature. We believe people can have different opinions and still share a community. Our focus is simply on the things that bring us together: great local businesses, interesting people, creativity, hard work, community, and the many reasons there is always something new to discover in Floyd.
Ultimately, our goal is simple:
Tell good stories. Support local. Discover something new.
