Goodbye Tiny Ants (For Real This Time!) – My Go-To for Pest Control located in Roanoke, VA
I’ve lived in my home for over 20 years now, but in the last couple of years, when we shift to warmer weather, I’ve battled teeny tiny ants that seem to come in at my kitchen sink and at my back door!
I’ve put out ant traps. I’ve gotten ant bait and put down. I’ve used Melaleuca spray that seems to kill them on contact, but doesn’t prevent more from coming! The counters and sink can be clean and still… here they come. 🤬
I got to know the owner of Bug Man Exterminating when I did some advertising for him for WFXR last year. I had him to come to Floyd and give me a quote in the fall, but I didn’t “purchase” then as it was getting colder and I knew the blasted things would go away in the winter. So I held out…
Then we had our crazy weather in March… HOT, then cold, then HOT again. And here they came… back again!
So I made the call to the local professional: Bug Man Exterminating.
Real Results: Did the Pest Control Actually Work?
Let’s cut to it—because this is what matters.
I was ready to get rid of these little pests, once and for all!
I didn’t need a sales pitch. I needed the ants gone.
After the first treatment, WOW! I barely saw an ant in the first 24 hours after treatment! And, then they were gone!
Not “a little better.”
Not “we’ll monitor it.”
Gone!
That’s the difference between wasting money… and actually solving the problem!

Frequently Asked Questions About Pest Control
How much does pest control cost?
Pricing can vary depending on the size of your home and the type of pest, but most homeowners can expect an initial treatment plus optional ongoing service for prevention. For me, I chose the ongoing service for prevention, so I signed up for an annual with quarterly treatments.
What pests are most common in our area?
Common pests include ants, spiders, termites, and seasonal insects that thrive in humid, wooded environments.
Is professional pest control worth it?
If you’ve tried DIY methods and pests keep returning, professional treatment is usually faster, more effective, and saves money long-term…. AND saves your sanity! 😉
How quickly does pest control work?
Many treatments start working immediately, with full results visible within a few days depending on the pest. In my case, I noticed immediately!
