Local Spot for ATVs & Used Cars
I met the owner, Rob Favre, a while back when he first started his business in Willis, VA and was focused on ATVs. The beauty of Floyd beckons outdoor adventure and when parents want to get their kids outdoors more, a small ATV might be just the thing to introduce them to the fun of outdoor recreation.
Buffalo Mountain Motorsports offers new Tao brand small to mid-sized ATVs—perfect for:
- Trail riding
- Farm and property work
- Family outdoor fun
- Exploring everything Floyd County has to offer
If you’ve been thinking about getting an ATV, this is your sign. 😉 There’s nothing quite like riding through our county on some trails with the wind in your face.
In addition to ATVs, Buffalo Mountain Motorsports also sells TAURUS brand UTVs. For those with farms, you know how THESE vehicles can help get the chores done!
Over time, the business has grown to include used car inventory and even the ability to rent a vehicle! His used car lot is one I’ve shopped while looking my teenager’s first vehicle. Why? Because they are affordable, especially for the first time buyer, and the sales staff are honest and helpful! They even help to find financing.
Now, I’m a bit partial to Subaru after owning one that took me well over 300k miles before I sold it, so I’ll share a couple of pics of current inventory they have as of 3/21/26…
Like this 2003 Subaru Forrester with just over 100,000 miles… and just $5,495… click the photo to go to their inventory (please note, if SOLD, this link will likely no longer function).

Not only do they have cars for purchase, but they also have cars to rent! You can inquire more about that at their website here: https://www.bmmusedcars.com/docs/vehicle_request.html
But maybe you’ve got a work truck and are just needing a way to haul a few things. They also carry Nexhaul Trailers!
Built for the Way We Live in Floyd
Let’s be honest… living in Floyd County is different (in the best way).
You need a vehicle that can handle:
- Back roads and gravel driveways

- Weekend adventures in the mountains
That’s where Buffalo Mountain Motorsports shines with their inventory. They specialize in quality used cars and trucks that are practical, reliable, and ready for real life—not just something that looks good on a lot.
Local, Honest, and Easy to Work With
One thing I hear over and over again from folks who’ve bought here?
“They’re just good people.”
No pressure. No big-city sales tactics. Just straightforward conversations and a genuine desire to help you find what works for you and your budget.
And in a small town like ours… that matters.
